Kindred Connection was founded by myself, Jamie Williams, LMHC, and my friend and colleague Jenna Hine, LCSW. It was created from our shared vision as two women navigating new motherhood during the height of the global pandemic.
What began as honest conversations about exhaustion, identity, and the need for community soon grew into a collective mission—to create a space where parents could feel supported, connected, and understood. As therapists and mothers, we recognized that healing often begins with belonging and community support.
That same spirit continues through Gentle Growth Mental Health Counseling, where I’m able to provide direct, individualized therapy to clients and families seeking support through life’s transitions. While Kindred Connection builds a broader network of perinatal providers, resources, and community support, my own practice allows me to meet clients one-on-one—to slow down, tune in, and foster the personal growth that makes lasting change possible. I encourage you to visit Kindred Connection and learn more about our other trusted providers to futher build your network of support and to learn more about our community events!
Kindred Connection is a collaborative network of perinatal specialists working towards the same goal: To support the perinatal community at every stage. The perinatal community includes women, birthing persons, and non-birthing partners from family planning through the postpartum stages.
Our vision is to hold a safe space for women, birthing persons and non-birthing partners. We are here to help build your village of support through referral connections to professional perinatal services such as mental health and wellness, physical health, birthing education, and basic needs.
